As one of the most established names in the manufacture and supply of industrial safety matting and entrance flooring products, COBA Europe is a business which has rapidly expanded over the years. It was a restructure of parent company COBA International Ltd, in 2007, which led to the establishment of COBA Europe Ltd. As a reflection of growth, a dedicated company for the matting division was established – COBA Europe Ltd. As growth continued, a new purpose-built office and a manufacturing and warehouse facility was built at the head office in Fleckney, Leicester. This was exclusively for the UK flooring and matting business. COBA was one of the first companies to introduce the concept of industrial ‘safety matting’ in the UK. It was their roots in manufacturing plastic extrusions that COBA’s Matting Division was first established. The COBAmat® safety matting was manufactured in 1979 as an alternative to wooden duck-boarding. And ever since then, COBA has grown to expand their range of in-house manufactured goods, and introduce new products to the collections. Our range includes entrance mats, kitchen mats, non- slip rubber matting, fatigue relief K mat and rubber paving tile matting.
