From its humble beginnings in the 1940’s to the present day, Dualit has continued to expand as a company and is now renowned as one of the market-leaders in kitchen appliance manufacturing. With many of their current models resembling those of Dualit’s founder’s – Max Gort-Barten – original designs, it is clear to see that much of the company’s values reside in those originally set out for the company in 1945. Examples of such appliances include the highly popular Vario toaster, which many believe bears a striking resemblance to the first 6 slice toaster with built in timer engineered. Priding themselves in producing the highest quality appliances whilst running a business that is ethically and environmentally responsible, Dualit’s vision and instinct is what has shaped the company’s success since their start over 60 year ago.
